FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE APRIL 18, 2006 Holt Indicted for Murder A grand jury today indicted Johnny Ray Holt, 24, of the first-degree murder of Rodger Keller in Key West in March. Sworn in only today, the 25-member panel took up Holt’s indictment as its first piece of business. Holt is accused of having shot the 63-year-old Keller to death in his home on March 20. Circuit Judge Wayne Miller is scheduled to arraign Holt on May 2. Prosecutors for State Attorney Mark Kohl say Holt will also face other felony charges including burglary and robbery. |
